Description
Yarrow 9cm Pot Plants Achillea millefolium
Common names include, devil's nettle, milfoil, soldier's woundwort and thousand seal.
Yarrow is a versatile, strongly scented perennial wildflower commonly found in UK meadows, pastures, hedgerows, and grassy banks. Growing to around 50cm tall, it thrives in a wide range of soil types, is drought-tolerant, and can withstand close mowing. From June to October, it produces flat-topped clusters of delicate flowers that attract a variety of beneficial insects, including ladybirds, hoverflies, and lacewings.
Historically, yarrow was valued as a charm against illness and bad luck. Recognised as one of the RHS Plants for Pollinators, it’s an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly gardens, meadows, and naturalistic planting schemes.
Sourced from native seed and grown in the UK, our 9cm pot plants are an ideal way to enhance your wildflower meadow or establish resilient plants in your garden or areas where seed germination can be unpredictable.
For the best results, we recommend planting 3 plants per square metre, grouping at least 3 of each species together to achieve a natural, flourishing look.
