Refund and Returns Policy

We have a 30-day return policy for returnable items. This means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please note that some items are excluded from returns, as set out below.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it.

Seed products must be returned in their original packaging, unopened and sealed. For reasons of quality assurance and biosecurity, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on seed products once the packaging has been opened.

Accessories and other non-perishable goods must be returned unused, in their original condition, and with any original tags, labels or packaging intact.

If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that our office, seed house and nursery are at different locations across the country, so items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We do not offer free returns unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

Damages, faults and incorrect items

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if an item is defective, damaged, missing, or if you have received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

You must bring any damage, fault or issue to our attention within 7 days of delivery. We may ask you to provide photographs so that we can assess the issue properly.

We cannot normally accept responsibility where damage or deterioration has occurred because the goods have been used, altered, multiplied, stored incorrectly, planted incorrectly, or kept in unsuitable conditions after delivery.

Exceptions and non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned. This includes plug plants, pot plants, hedging whips, bulbs and other perishable plant products, unless they are faulty, damaged, or supplied incorrectly.

Perishable goods are excluded from the usual cooling-off cancellation rights that apply to many online purchases. This means we do not normally accept returns or issue refunds for plug plants, pot plants, bulbs, hedging whips or other perishable plant products simply because they are no longer wanted.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund has been approved.

If approved, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
