Description
Wood Forget-Me-Not Plug Plants Myosotis sylvatica
Common names include woodland forget-me-not and garden forget-me-not.
A charming biennial or short-lived perennial with clouds of delicate sky-blue flowers held above soft, hairy foliage. Blooming from April to June, wood forget-me-not is a valuable nectar source for bees and other early pollinators. Its ability to self-seed gently makes it perfect for naturalising in woodland edges, shady borders, and wildlife gardens.
Thriving in moist, well-drained soils in partial shade, this woodland wildflower brings a soft, naturalistic touch to shady planting schemes. Its cheerful flowers are a welcome sign of spring and create beautiful drifts when planted in groups.
Our strong, healthy plug plants are grown in 40cc cell trays and are ready for planting directly into their final position.
Sourced from UK-grown native stock, these plugs are an easy way to establish this much-loved wildflower where seed germination may be erratic.
We recommend planting 5–7 plugs per square metre in groups for a natural woodland effect.
