Description
White Stonecrop Plug Plants Sedum album
Common names include small houseleek.
A compact, mat-forming succulent with tiny, fleshy green leaves that often take on red tones in dry conditions. In summer (June to August), it produces clouds of delicate white star-shaped flowers that are highly attractive to bees, hoverflies, and other pollinators. White stonecrop is exceptionally drought-tolerant, making it perfect for green roofs, gravel gardens, rockeries, and walls where other plants may struggle.
Thriving in full sun and poor, well-drained soils, this hardy perennial spreads slowly to form low-maintenance, evergreen groundcover that provides year-round interest and habitat for insects.
Our strong, healthy plug plants are grown in 40cc cell trays and ready for planting directly into their final position.
Sourced from native UK seed and grown locally, these plugs are an easy way to establish this resilient, pollinator-friendly species in your garden or wild space.
We recommend planting 5–10 plugs per square metre for effective coverage in dry, open areas.
