Description
Sneezewort Plug Plants Achillea ptarmica
Common names include sneezeweed and white tansy.
An elegant native wildflower that brings delicate beauty to meadows, cottage gardens, and damp grasslands. Sneezewort produces loose clusters of small, pure white, daisy-like flowers from June to September, offering a long-lasting display and an excellent nectar source for bees, butterflies, and hoverflies. Its finely toothed, aromatic leaves were once used in traditional herbal remedies and to provoke sneezing – hence its common name.
Thriving in moist or seasonally damp soils and full sun to partial shade, it’s ideal for naturalistic plantings and pollinator-friendly borders.
Our strong, healthy plug plants are grown in 40cc cell trays and are ready for planting straight into their final position.
Sourced from native UK seed and grown locally, these plugs provide an easy and reliable way to establish this wildlife-friendly perennial in your garden or wild area.
We recommend planting 5-7 plugs per square metre in groups for a naturalistic effect.
