Description
Reflexed Stonecrop Plug Plants Sedum reflexum
Common names include blue stonecrop and stone orpine.
A hardy, low-growing perennial succulent with striking blue-grey foliage and cheerful yellow star-like flowers in mid to late summer (June to August). Reflexed stonecrop spreads to form dense mats, making it an excellent drought-tolerant groundcover for dry, sunny sites. Its nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, hoverflies, and other pollinators.
Thriving in poor, well-drained soils and full sun, this robust species is ideal for green roofs, rockeries, walls, gravel gardens, and wildlife-friendly planting schemes. The evergreen, needle-like foliage provides year-round texture and interest.
Our strong, healthy plug plants are grown in 40cc cell trays and ready for planting straight into their final position.
Sourced from native UK seed and grown locally, these plugs are a reliable way to establish this tough, pollinator-friendly succulent in your garden or wild space.
We recommend planting 5–10 plugs per square metre for fast coverage in dry, open areas.
