Other Neutral Grassland Seed Mix

This wildflower seed mix is designed for the creation and enhancement of Other Neutral Grassland (g3c) habitats under Biodiversity Net Gain. Suitable for a wide range of neutral soil sites, it establishes a resilient, semi-diverse sward where full species-rich meadow restoration is not achievable, but meaningful biodiversity gains are still required.

The mix blends adaptable wildflowers - including oxeye daisy, bird's-foot trefoil, red clover, yarrow, selfheal and knapweed - with a robust base of perennial grasses. This balanced composition supports pollinators and other wildlife, while ensuring reliable establishment across variable site conditions.

Well suited to sites with moderate fertility of a history of agricultural improvement, the mix prioritises durability and management flexibility. It performs well under a range of management regimes, including cutting, grazing, or a combination of both, with best results achieved through ongoing low-intensity management.
