Common Fleabane Plug Plants Pulicaria dysenterica

Common fleabane is a charming native perennial commonly found in damp grassland, wet meadows, marshes, ditches and along pond and river margins, where its cheerful golden-yellow, daisy-like flowers provide a bright splash of colour from late summer into autumn. Its abundant blooms are particularly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, making it an excellent choice for wildlife gardens, naturalistic planting schemes and areas of moist ground.

Thriving in full sun or partial shade, common fleabane prefers moist, reasonably fertile soils and is especially well suited to sites that remain damp throughout the growing season. Its softly textured foliage forms spreading clumps, while the upright flowering stems create an informal, natural appearance that blends beautifully with other native wildflowers and grasses.

Our strong, healthy plants are grown in 40cc cell trays and are ready to be planted in their final position.

Sourced from native seed and grown for us in the UK, our plug plants are an ideal way to boost species in a wildflower meadow or to easily establish plants in your garden or in areas where seed germination can be erratic.

We recommend planting 5-7 plugs per metre square in groups of at least 3 per species for a naturalistic look.
