British Native Plants

Sourced from native seed and grown in the UK.

At Meadowmania, we offer one of the largest selections of native wildflower plug plants in the UK, all grown from UK-sourced seed. Our plugs are perfect for quickly establishing wildflowers in meadows, borders, and gardens, ideal where seed germination can be challenging.

Choose from our expertly designed mixes for different soils and habitats, or create your own from our wide range of individual species. If you don’t see the species you’re looking for, get in touch; it’s likely we have it growing in the nursery.

Wildflower Plants

We specialise in native British wildflower plants, including; plug plants, 9cm pots, and wildflower turf

Sourced from native seed and grown for us in the UK, our plug plants are an ideal way to boost species in a wildflower meadow or to easily establish plants in your garden or in areas where seed germination can be erratic.

Our strong, healthy plants are grown in 40cc cell trays and are ready to be planted in their final position.  Plant them at least 5 per square metre and in groups of at least 3 of the same species for a naturalistic look.

Providing the ground is not frozen or waterlogged, the plugs can be planted all year round, but are best planted between late August and May.
