Established Wild flower meadow
Customers often want to know what an established wild flower meadow can look like. This a mix of perennials which have now been established over 5 years.
It will have a range of perennials wild flower species in flower throughout the summer.
Establishing perennials takes several years and patience. But an established wildflower meadow can be a thing of beauty.
Early on they can seem to be dominated by Ox eye Daisy and maybe Wild Carrot. But a patient and consistent management regime will steadily see a more diverse an interesting Meadow develop. Whilst they will never be as colourful as an annual meadow they can be both attractive and interesting. As well as being very beneficial to all the local wildlife.
