Wildflower seed in Cornwall

Wildflower Seed

The following pictures are of a Meadow that has been created in South Cornwall. They took a long time to prepare and clear the ground. Then in spring 2016 they sowed a mixture of MEAD3 Grass and Wildflower Seed and CWF1 Cornfield Annual seed. The pictures were taken earlier this year and show a mass of Cornfield annuals in flower. This particular area was dominated by Corn Marigold though you can also see Poppies, Cornflower and Corn Chamomile in flower. The Corn Cockle were still to flower. It will be interesting to follow up this meadow next year when the perennial wildflower seed in the  MEAD3 perennial mix should start to come  to the fore. This includes species such as Ox Eye Daisy , Red and White Campion etc. [gallery ids="1434,1432,1433"]
