Only Ox Eye Daisy growing
Ox Eye Daisy
A common concern we have from customers is as a meadow develops in the early years there can seem to be nothing but Ox Eye Daisy. The picture is from a customer this year. Underneath the daisy they can see at least Yellow rattle, Buttercups and Clover growing.
Because of the height of ox eye daisy and because it is quick to establish. It will look sometimes as if there is nothing else growing in the meadow. Over time the balance of the meadow should change. The Ox Eye Daisy becoming part of the meadow for part of the year. Other species coming through in other times.
