Description
Wood Sage Plug Plants Teucrium scorodonia
Common names include woodland germander.
A native perennial wildflower with small yellowish flowers, wood sage grows in sandy soils and can be found at woodland edges and shady borders. An ideal addition to your wildflower meadow or naturalistic garden, wood sage flowers from July to September and, one of the RHS Plants for Pollinators, is a good source of nectar for later pollinators.
Sourced from native seed and grown for us in the UK, our plug plants are an ideal way to boost species in a wildflower meadow or to easily establish plants in your garden or in areas where seed germination can be erratic.
We recommend planting 5 plugs per metre square in groups of at least 3 per species for a naturalistic look.
