Wildflower Plug Plants for Flowering Lawns
Transform your lawn into a vibrant, flower-rich habitat for pollinators, caterpillars, and wildlife with this mix of wildflower plug plants. These species tolerate close mowing to a height of about 5cm for most of the year. Simply stop mowing to let the plants bloom, creating a beautiful, biodiverse garden full of native wildflowers.
You will receive 10 species from a longer list of suitable UK wildflower plants including, meadow buttercup, yarrow, and bird's-foot trefoil. Most of the species appear on the RHS Plants for Pollinators list and are a great source of food for bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
Our strong, healthy plants are grown in 40cc cell trays and are ready to be planted in their final position.
Sourced from native seed and grown for us in the UK, our plug plants are an ideal way to boost species in a wildflower meadow or to easily establish plants in your garden or in areas where seed germination can be erratic.
We recommend planting 5 plugs per metre square in groups of at least 3 per species for a naturalistic look.
