Description
Wild Foxglove 9cm Pot Plants Digitalis purpurea
Common names include, dead men's bells, goblin gloves and witches' gloves.
Wild foxgloves can be biennial or perennial plants and grow in the wild throughout the UK in gardens, woodlands, heathland and roadside verges. They can grow to 2 metres in height and their pink purple tube-shaped flowers grow on tall spikes from June to September. Wild foxgloves grow in all soil types in sun or shade.
One of the RHS Plants for Pollinators, wild foxglove is an important source of pollen for bees.
Sourced from native seed and grown for us in the UK, our 9cm pot plants are a quick and effective way to boost species in a wildflower meadow.
We recommend planting around 3 plants per metre square in groups of at least 3 per species for a naturalistic look.
