Description
Wild Daffodil Narcissus pseudonarcissus
Common names include, Lent lily, bell rose, common daffodil, Lent rose and trumpet narcissus.
One of the best early spring flowers for naturalising, this familiar native perennial has distinctive yellow trumpet-like flowers on long straight stalks.
Ideal for woodland settings, meadows, containers, garden flower beds and borders and as a cut flower.
Plant your wild daffodils 10-15cm below the surface of the soil. Please note, wild daffodils can take a while to become established, and the bulbs might only produce leaves in the first year of growth as their energies will be going into producing good, strong roots. Rather than cutting it off, let this foliage die back naturally; the leaves are still photosynthesising and sending nutrients into the bulbs for next year's flowers.
Our highest-quality wildflower and meadow bulbs are grown in the UK from British plants.
