Description
Wet Grassland Mix (UKHab f2b / NVC MG10)
This carefully selected mix is designed for creating or restoring wet grassland habitats, particularly suited to seasonally waterlogged or poorly drained soils. Based on the plant communities found in the MG10 (Holcus lanatus – Juncus effusus) grassland, this mix provides a rich blend of wildflowers, grasses, and rushes that thrive in damp meadows, floodplains, and margins.
Ideal for BNG compliance, this mix promotes biodiversity, supports wetland invertebrates and pollinators, and enhances soil structure and water retention. It’s a great choice for low-lying areas, natural flood management schemes, and habitat creation on farmland or development sites.
✅ BNG-ready
