Common names include, heal-all, brownwort or heart-of-the-earth.
Selfheal is a native perennial wildflower that thrives in a wide range of conditions including sun or partial shade.
Found in grasslands and in the short grass of roadside verges or lawns, selfheal is a low-growing, creeping plant which works well as ground cover, or in borders, or meadows. Its clusters of violet flowers can be seen from June through to October.
Sow selfheal in spring from March to May, or in autumn from August to October.
All our native wildflower seed is sourced from stock grown in the wild in Britain. It is then multiplied up commercially and packed in the UK so you can be confident you are buying native British wildflower seed.
