Description
Meadow Cranesbill 9cm Pot Plants Geranium pratense
Common names include, crowfoot, common crane's-bill, and wild geranium.
Meadow cranesbill's clump-forming delicate leaves are a common sight in hay meadows, verges and grasslands and it will thrive in most soil types. Plant this delightful native perennial in your wildflower meadow, or wildlife garden, to enjoy the striking violet flowers from June to September.
Meadow cranesbill is one of the RHS Plants for Pollinators and is an excellent nectar source for bees such as buff-tailed bees, red-tailed bees and honeybees.
Sourced from native seed and grown for us in the UK, our 9cm pot plants are a quick and effective way to boost species in a wildflower meadow.
We recommend planting around 3 plants per metre square in groups of at least 3 per species for a naturalistic look.
