Description
Large-Flowered Mixed Crocuses Crocus vernus
A colourful mix of lilac, purple, orange and white large-flowered Dutch crocuses to bring profuse spring colour to a wide range of settings. A fully hardy, vigorous grower, crocuses are ideal for naturalising in lawns and for planting in flower beds, edges and borders; they also do well in pots and containers.
Large-flowering crocuses grow best in full sun in well-drained soil. To achieve a naturalistic effect, scatter handfuls of bulbs and plant them about 10cm deep where they fall. They will multiply easily. Where the bulbs are planted in lawns, leave grass uncut until after the leaves have died back.
Our highest-quality wildflower and meadow bulbs are grown in the UK from British plants.
