Description

Feverfew Plug Plants Tanacetum parthenium

Common names include bachelor's buttons, maids and wild chamomile.

This is a short-lived perennial wildflower with clusters of small white yellow-eyed daisy-like flowers which bloom from June to September.  The young leaves are edible and their slightly bitter flavour can be enjoyed in salads.

Feverfew thrives in full sun on all well-drained soils. Ideal naturalised in wildflower meadows, for cottage and informal gardens, wildlife gardens, courtyards and flower beds, feverfew also does well in containers and makes an excellent cut flower.

One of the RHS Plants for Pollinators, feverfew is attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.

Our strong, healthy plants are grown in 40cc cell trays and are ready to be planted in their final position.

Sourced from native seed and grown for us in the UK, our plug plants are an ideal way to boost species in a wildflower meadow or to easily establish plants in your garden or in areas where seed germination can be erratic.

We recommend planting 5 plugs per metre square in groups of at least 3 per species for a naturalistic look.
