Tenby Daffodil Narcissus obvallaris

Common names include, Tenby narcissus and the Welsh daffodil.

A variety of daffodil which grows wild in South Wales, this small flowering plant produces lemon-yellow blooms in March.  One of the best early spring flowers for naturalising, plant in groups of 2 or 3 in unregimented drifts for a natural look.

Ideal for woodland settings, meadows, containers, garden flower beds and borders and as a cut flower.

Spring wildflower bulbs 'in the green' are supplied when they are actively growing. This can be a more reliable way to transplant wildflower bulb species than from dormant bulbs planted in autumn. Wildflower bulbs in the green can be easier to plant as it is clear where the bulbs have been positioned.  In most cases, the plants will flower the following spring.

Please note, wild daffodils can take a while to become established.

Our wildflower and meadow bulbs are grown in the UK from British plants.
