Selfheal Prunella vulgaris

Common names include, heal-all, carpenter's herb or brownwort.

Selfheal is a hardy native perennial wildflower that thrives in a variety of conditions including sun or partial shade. A low-growing, creeping plant, with clusters of violet flowers from June through to October, it can be found in grasslands and in the short grass of roadside verges or lawns. Selfheal works well as ground cover, or in borders, or meadows.

Sow in spring from March to May, or in autumn from August to October.

All our native wildflower seed is sourced from stock grown in the wild in Britain. It is then multiplied up commercially and packed in the UK so you can be confident you are buying native British wildflower seed.
