Description
Our Native Traditional British Wildflower Seed Mix features a diverse mixture of native wildflower species including annuals - e.g. field borage, poppy, cornflower and yellow rattle - and native perennial species.
Suitable for most soil types and an ideal source of food for our insect pollinators, this native mix is easy-to-grow, with the annual species flowering in year 1 and the perennial species following on from year 2 onwards.
Once established it will come back year after year to give a colourful and interesting display from May through to September.
All the native wildflower seed in our mixtures is sourced from stock grown in the wild in Britain. It is then multiplied up commercially and mixed and packed in the UK so you can be confident you are buying native British wildflower seed.
For best results sow in the spring from March through to May, or in the autumn, from late August through to October. Best sown onto a bare seedbed, or an existing grass sward with at least 50% bare soil.
